Pamplona's Plaza del Castillo (Square of the Castle) is the heart and soul of the city and is even affectionally referred to as "Pamplona's living room".

Occupying some 14,000 square meters where Pamplona's former castle once stood, the Plaza del Castillo has truly been a witness to it all: tournaments, markets, military parades, battles, bullfights and more. Today it's the city's top spot to meet up with friends, people-watch, take a walk, poke around shops or nurse a drink in any of the square's fashionable cafes that look out onto the plaza.
